What is ICCID
ICCID is a unique number given to SIM cards. ICCID stands for Integrated Circuit Card Identifier. It is a 19 or 20 digit Unique Number Given to SIM. ICCID is similar to the IMEI code but used for different purposes. The ICCID code is embedded physically as well as digitally to the SIM card. It exists in all types of SIM it is present even in E-SIM. It is a universal unique number given to SIM cards.
It can be used to identify SIM, Home country, Region, and Carrier. ICCID is present on the backside of the SIM card it is may not be printed on smaller size SIM cards. But you can identify using your device.

What does each Digit on ICCID represents
ICCID is a 19 or 20 digit number in form of MMCC-IINN-NNNN-NNNN-NN C(X) where each representation stands for:
MM: MM is used for denoting MII(Major Industry Identifier), The first 2 digit of ICCID is always 89. It denotes that the number is related to the telecommunication industry. It helps in differentiating the different numbers.
CC: CC is used for denoting the country code. The next 2 digits are followed by the country code, Which specifies the country of the SIM card. For example, 01 represents the United States.
II: II is used for denoting an Identifier or a carrier. It shows which carrier or network is your SIM is Registered with.
N: N is used to a unique number that differentiates one SIM from Another. It is 12 digit Number used as SIM ID or User ID
C is Digit applied by calculating the all the digits and X is an additional digit.

How to Find ICCID number of your SIM
ICCID number is present on the backside of the SIM card. Sometimes it may not be available on the back of the side card, But it will be present on the package or Cover you received the SIM card in. If you have no means of those you can use your device to find out the ICCCID number. Likewise, you can also contact customer care to get it. In this method, we will show how to get an ICCID number using your device.
How to find ICCID on iOS device
Step 1: Head to Settings on your iOS device.
Step 2: Select General Settings and Head over to About Menu.
Step 3: ICCID number will be present on the About Menu, Scroll a little and you will find it.
How to find ICCID on Android device
Step 1: Open Settings on your Android SmartPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on About.
Step 3: Tap on Status. In some devices, it is known as Phone Status.
Step 4: You will find the ICCID number in the Status Information.
